Well we can't guarantee the Sun! but we can guarantee you 4miles of unspoiled beauty in the form of Rossbeigh Beach. Rossbeigh Beach is located 2km from the Hotel. A four mile sweep of sand.No shelving. Safe for toddlers and challenging for surfers. Deep sea angling available at Valentia. Shore angling locally in Dingle Bay. It is the ideal location to enjoy the bracing outdoors. Excellent for fishing, horse-riding, golf, tennis, board-sailing, canoeing, hand-gliding, mountain walking and orienteering. Glenbeigh is a haven for nature lovers throughout Glenbeigh and the Lickeen woods.Also mountain walks-incorporating part of the famous Kerry way. Try one of the many trails available. The Coomasaharn Walk takes you high into the Kerry hills, the beallach walk leads you to Drom West where there is a panoramic viewing area on Rossbeigh hill.Why not follow the path of the former Great Southern and Western Valentia Line which slowly meanders to the Behy bridge bringing you back to Glenbeigh.However your visit to the Towers can not be complete without a 10km walk around Rossbeigh beach taking you along the front strand with Dingle Bay to your left and onto the Signal Tower before returning along the Back Strand to the Tennis courts at Rossbeigh
 
Horse Riding at Glenbeigh -
Riding is a pleasure at Glenbeigh.There are full riding stables with horses of all types. Enjoy a full day on horseback on one of the long trails over the Kerry mountains.The view from the top of the Windy Gap must be seen to be believed, mountain after mountain unfolding itself before you with Caragh Lake in the foreground. The more experienced rider can gallop on the beach at Rossbeigh or can ride through the sand dunes. Trekking through Killarney National Park can also be arranged.

Historic Places of Interest - Glenbeigh is enshrouded with history, the startling ruin of 'Glenbeigh Towers', better known today as Wynn's Castle ,whose walls are still standing, recalls the landlords of same - The Winns, Barons Headley. The Title dated from 1797. Wynn's Folly was burnt down in 1922. The view from Wynn's Folly is superb, and provides a breathtaking view of the village and surrounds of Glenbeigh. Other sites worth visiting include Drung Hill - The site of an ancient pattern and the old railway - the public right of way exists in part on the Coast road, south of the Glenbeigh horseshoe. Only 50 km from Glenbeigh is Derrynane House - Home of 'The Liberator', Daniel O' Connell, which is now a museum and park.
